When I came to you several years ago the condition of my teeth was dire. As we embarked upon the eventual full mouth reconstruction I was both filled with anxiety and fearful of the process to ensue. This was due to the extensive work that would be required and, in part, to my earliest memories of you that included a helmet, shoulder pads and cleats.

You assured me that while the reconstructive work would be long and extensive, the pain would be minimal and the result extraordinary. You delivered on both of those promises. Obviously, no one looks forward to the prospect of two years or oral surgery and dental reconstruction but I can honestly say that the process was not nearly as painful as I had imagined. More importantly, I now have a mouth that is virtually pain free. Esthetically, the work you performed was beyond extraordinary and actually rises to the level of “art”.

I can never really thank you enough for the skill and professionalism you exhibited while treating me.

First of all, you should know that I have a phobia of Dentists, nothing personal. I remember when you told me I had a cracked molar and had to have a crown---my heart started beating fast and I panicked.

When it finally came time to get my crown, I hadn’t slept for days worrying about it. I sat down in the chair, gripped the arms of the chair, sat back, stomach muscles drawn, tears began to squeeze of out of my eyes. You asked me if I was O.K. and I lied and said yes. All I kept thinking was, “Please hurry and if he leaves the room, I’m out of here!”

Well, you never gave me the chance to run out and I’m thankful. That evening, you even called me at home to make sure there weren’t any complications. That really impressed me. Since then, I have had two more crowns put on.

I have all the confidence in the world in your abilities as a dentist. You are very good at what you do and I have never had a dentist that takes so much pride in this work. Thank you so much and I hope I don’t see you for another six months, nothing personal.
